Join us for two days of discussion, skill exchange, and networking in Berlin, Germany on the 8-11 of December. Our information landscape is increasingly more polarized, overwhelming, and full of misinformation than ever—especially on social media, where hidden algorithms and profit-driven tech giants shape what we see.
Trust in institutions and news is dwindling, making shared truths and common perspectives increasingly rare. Now, with AI changing the game, navigating the media world is becoming even more complex, both for those consuming news and for those creating it.
This networking event offers a space for journalists and media creators to come together. Let’s dive into discussions on media bias, polarization, and the impact of AI on news.
Join us to share insights, address concerns, and explore strategies for a more balanced and trustworthy media landscape. Display Europe invites European-based media makers and small to mid-size newsroom professionals to attend a two-day event in Berlin, Germany, on the 8-11 of December at Hotel Continental - an art space in exile. The event is part of the Display Europe initiative - a media project and platform syndicating relevant European content across 15 languages. This event aims to increase the capacity of the European Public space and is the second in a series of four in-person events across Europe where we put the spotlight on different narratives in the European media and exchange skills and knowledge.
The event is organized by the Display Partner organizations Hostwriter and Community Media Forum Europe, in partnership with Tactical Tech, and with inputs from Andrei Petre.
