Join us for two days of discussion, skill exchange, and networking in Athens, Greece.
Apartment scarcity and rising rents are commonplace across Europe, creating pressure on locals. Some blame tourism - vacation rentals, foreign investors, and gentrification. Others use housing as a wedge to bolster right-wing narratives blaming migrants for all social problems. Meanwhile, the climate crisis heats the conflict up further. How do journalists covering housing and urban life understand competing narratives and policy proposals for a sustainable urban future?
Display Europe invites European-based media makers (geographical Europe) and small to mid-size newsroom professionals to attend a two-day event in Athens, Greece, on the 10-13 of November, hosted at Refocus Media Labs.
The event is part of the Display Europe initiative - a media project and platform syndicating relevant European content across 15 languages.
