February 13 is World Radio Day, a day to celebrate radio as a medium; to improve international cooperation between broadcasters; and to encourage major networks and community radios alike to promote access to information, free, independent and pluralistic media. CMFE and its members are celebrating along with UNESCO, the World Association of Community Broadcasters (AMARC) and all the stakeholders; public services, mainstream and community media!
This year’s topic is Radio and Sports – find related events here: http://www.diamundialradio.org/
Also read Her Moments Matter (http://www.diamundialradio.org/hermomentsmatter) and make use of the radio spots or take some time to review former projects like MARS – Media against Racism in Sports: https://www.coe.int/t/dg4/cultureheritage/mars/default_en.asp
CMFE wishes you a happy World Radio Day!
