Ofcom Community Radio Consultation: until 22nd of December

Ofcom, the UK radio regulator, is currently consulting on the future licensing and technical policy for the Community Radio sector.  The consultation, which closes on the 22nd of December, will look at how future rounds of licensing will be conducted and will examine how best to use additional frequency resources as they become available as some larger services have migrated to digital only delivery.  Next year, the regulator also plans to examine options for the further roll-out of additional small-scale DAB multiplexes providing suitable coverage for community radio services.  Details of the current consultation can be found at:
